মহিলা ও শিশু বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীন বাংলাদেশ শিশু একাডেমী বর্তমানে কেন্দ্রীয় কার্যালয়সহ দেশের ৬৪টি জেলা ও ৬টি উপজেলায় কাজ করছে| জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের আদর্শে সোনার বাংলা গড়ার অন্যতম শক্তি আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্ম; যারা আজকের শিশু-কিশোর বয়সী। মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনায় অসাম্প্রদায়িক সমাজ বিনির্মাণ এবং গণতান্ত্রিক মূল্যবোধ প্রতিষ্ঠার মধ্য দিয়ে মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার উন্নয়ন রূপরেখায় শিশুদের অধিকার নিশ্চিত করা হয়েছে। ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশের যোগ্য নাগরিক হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে আজকের শিশু- কিশোরদের জন্য প্রয়োজন দেশপ্রেম, মূল্যবোধ, নৈতিকতা, সততা, নিষ্ঠা, তথ্যপ্রযুক্তি, বিজ্ঞান, খেলাধুলা এবং সাহিত্য-সংস্কৃতি সম্পর্কিত পরিপূর্ণ জ্ঞান। শিশুদের মেধা মনন ও বুদ্ধিবৃত্তি চর্চার উদ্দেশ্যে শিল্প-সাহিত্য- সংগীত-চারুকলা-বিজ্ঞানসহ সংস্কৃতির নানা শাখায় বাংলাদেশ শিশু একাডেমীর রয়েছে বহুবিধ কার্যক্রম|

Under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs. Bangladesh Shishu Academy is currently working in 64 districts and 6 upzilas of the country including the central office. In the ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahamn, our future generatin is one of the strenths to build Sonar Bangls, Today's children and teengagers are youg. The rights of children have been ensured by the developemnt of the prime Minister Sheikh Hasina by establishing a non-communal society and establishing democratic values in the spirit of the great war of liberation. Today's chilren and young people need to have the full knowledge of patriotism, values, morality, honesty, devotion, information teachnology, science, sports and liteary-culture in order to become eligible citizens of Digital Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Shishu Academy has many programs in various branches of culture including art and literature for music and intellectualization of children.
